24 October 17 - Dark nights and Christmas parties

So its nearly Halloween and Bonfire night, this is my first news letter of October it's been so busy. As you know we both host and exhibit at the Leisure Supplies Show and what a show it was this year. We was up in Birmingham 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th October setting up, clearing up and exhibiting at the show as a whole the show was enormous success. Lots of orders taken by our sister company Rodeo Sales who was exhibiting one of our new products for the 2018 season Chair O Planes. This product stole the show and I am sure will be a big hit on the hire fleet next season. We also picked up a few new products for next year and a new santa's grotto for this christmas. You will be hearing more about the new products as they are delivered and tested out but straight into the hire fleet goes our new 15ft x18ft Adult Bouncy Castle, another 10ft platform slide making that 4 available to hire, two new table football games, and the upgraded Pixel Play 4 in 1. Another new item we can tell you about but have not had time to play with is The Game Show Challenge and Fun Bingo I will leave this to your imagination but will post some videos and full details when we get chance to play. So October has come and gone with a very wide range of items going out and with a large amount of them heading for London and the West Midlands. Game of the month must be the Pit Stop Challenge not done a lot this year but 4 times in October is a strange one. Adam attended a new venue for us at Etc St Pauls in London providing equipment ordered from the USA for a staff conference Pick & Mix and ever popular Pluck A Duck. Still down in the capital this time Hampton Court with our Roll A Ball Kentucky Derby and Event Manager George, this was the usual big hit. Mid way through the month and after spending a week in the West Midlands at LSS we are back this time Lichfield with roll a ball donkey derby, race car simulators, scalextric and table fooseball games. Kym, George and Ellie head off on the well earned break in Devon leaving Mike, Adam, Phill and me holding the thought. Manchester this weekend with Eliminator, Sumos and IPS at the Emirates and Beat The Bleep at Manchester Central. Now Mike leaves us for a golf holiday in Portugal and then these was three building Chair O Planes and catching up with show orders as well as Golf Putting Simulator and the new improved Mega Beat The Bleep in the Trinity Shopping Centre Leeds followed by Grab A Grand for O2 in the Cross Gates Shopping Centre also in Leeds. George and Kym return with George just having time to do two events one in Manchester and one in Chesterfield before heading down south to see the NFL at Twickenham. Chesterfield was a private house party with our Large screen Golf Simulator been the after dinner entertainment and Manchester saw Silly Soccer, Podium Play and Arm-Mazing all for fan zone entertainment. We have a week of building work at the unit this week so generally this will be a testing week in the lead up to Halloween. Oh yes on to the new member of full time staff! Some of you will have met Josh he has worked for us part time and casual since he was 17 but now 25 he has joined as a full time member of staff we know he will fit straight in so welcome Josh. In the deep end George and Josh set off to London this time Heathrow to set up a two day event for British Airways "V" Racers our 4 race car simulators, 6 Lane Scalextric and Pit Stop Challenge while we send Phil off to Oxford to collect our new 6 Lane Scalextric ready in time for the Christmas party season. That takes us up to the 27th keep a look out for photos and more news on the new equipment arriving on our Facebook page or if you need more information, quote or specification on any of or services you can contact us via email Info@activehire.co.uk or phone 0113 345 9252 any time.
