Its over! We are in the process of packing away our last event of a very busy christmas period so I thought I would take this opportunity to tell you about our year 2016 and what you can expect in 2017. January 2016 started nice and quiet with the preparation for the coming season we are not out on the road as much but beavering away in the workshops working on new products and ideas some never come to market as we try but dont work some we sell through our sales business Rodeo Sales some get built exclusively for our hire fleet.
February brought the first trade show of the year INPAS down in Cambridge sometimes a bit late for new items for the upcoming season but topping up on supplies and replacements but this year we did end up with a new item it was the Magic Mirror adding to our range of photo booths we did some more shopping new Hook A Duck tank and a new style Assault Course - Jump and Slide.
March as well as still been busy in the workshops brings us The Team holiday Julie, Brian, Harry, Mike, George and Steve all had time away in Egypt Leaving Kym and Adam back in the UK looking after things and secretly testing the new Arm-Mazing.

April is a very busy month in the office especially we had a new office block delivered to our unit site at Leeds & Bradford Airport A new home for Brian and Kym office all fitted out so we was then in a position to look for a new apprentice to help out and hopefully learn the ropes to help with the extra work. We took delivery of the Bouncy Castle with Air Cannons a first for us and we believe the only one in the north of England.

May 1st traditionally the start of the main season but we are also very busy with Inflatable testing we have Neil an independant RPII tester come in and test the inflatables and where appropriate tag them using the PIPA tagging system. We have also employed the testing service to come in and provide their training and examining service so that all full time staff can be put through the Inflatable Equipment Operator Attendant training and examination from which all staff passed with flying colours. With all this going on we start with some gala events as well as meetings and site visits for forthcoming event dates.
June is full on events events events we do have extra full time staff with Phil and Lawrence joining the team of event managers with many temporary and casual staff to help with this really busy period. The music festival season is in full swing and we are traveling the length and breath of the country with our 6 bed trampoline set down in Wales for a week long show.
July is a complete sell out no time to sleep every day is full. One of the high lights of July was us helping host the citizens weekend for a premier League football team this followed on from a very successful players, staff and family Christmas party and secured us a deal to supply the pre-match entertainment for season ticket holders. With two festivals each weekend from Scotland to Southampton a new van was needed so we added a new Vivaro LWB to our fleet.

August comes along feels like we have not stopped School Events, Fundays at home in Leeds and just about every other town in England and a few in Scotland and Wales we are truly nationwide service providers. The events are thick and fast with all products out of the door the office staff have done us proud scheduling events day and night up and down the country as things quieten down in the office these minds start to turn to the Leisure Supplies Show promotions but we also feel we need another new van as rental fees are building up so August sees the arrival of a fourth Citroen Relay LWB van.

September the end is in sight - as the kids and students head back to their studies we host a load of school reward days, Freshers Events and a real big Staff reward day for Leeds University and a BBQ evens for Leeds collages also down the Cambridge University for a Ball seems like we are the chosen supplier for so many Student Unions, Universities, Schools and College events. With the busy season coming to the slow down any spare time we have is spent on the Leisure Supplies Show both building the new equipment to take for sale and new items to show with the launch of the new and improved rodeo bull / sweeper arm looming is busy busy busy.
October as everyone starts to think of the holidays we are still steady away with events but with a bit of thinking time between events and we cast our minds forward the the "C" word but not before we both Attend, Exhibit and Host the LSS in Coventry as the 4th Annual Show things are going from strength to strength with a sell out show and exhibitors coming from all parts of our industry Inflatables, soft play, Insurance, Photo booths, Testing, Giant games and much more but events are still on going. With an epic event for a adventurer's club at the Queens Hotel in Leeds City centre with entertainment for pre drinks, main dinner dance and after party so many items at this event it was three LWB vans to deliver the likes of Kentucky derby (roll a ball) strike a light, Grab a grand, "V" racers, Magic mirror, Pie face and Pick and Mix sweeties. It's all about the fun.

November at last some of us get to go away but its not all sun, sand and beer Orlando is the place of choice for our winter break this is because Orlando hosts the IAPPA show this is the leading attraction show in the world so as market leaders it's the place we need to be both to promote the electronic game we stock as well as sourcing a lot of new products and new ideas for the next season. While some are away in the USA the others are back in the UK (in the cold) playing with the new equipment (we call toys) purchased while we was at the Leisure Supplies Show this years show we got a new Race track for the Go Karts, A new Adult Bouncy Castle, and what I think will be the star of the year our Social Media Pod.
December here we go again Christmas Parties, Tinsel and turkey events, Office parties and School events. Rodeo Rudolph, Racing Reindeers, Santas Grotto, Green Screen Dream Machine, Christmas Bounce House, Dancing Santa, Snow Machine, Ice Cube Blizzard, Snow Board simulator and so much more. None stop Christmas carols and fun for all. We been down in London so many times I have lost count we have been down as far as Bournemouth and as high up as Glasgow with stops in Newcastle, Birmingham and Sheffield with Manchester feeling like our second home. But now its over 8pm 23rd December 2016 now time for us to spend time with loved ones while remembering lost ones. All that is left to do is raise a glass and wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year. SEE YOU ALL WHEN WE DO IT ALL AGAIN IN 2017!
